A great day in the studio...

My intention with blogging is to keep a written record of what's happening around the studio. I had a very productive day today so I feel the need to blog about it. Because, well, that's what bloggers do and now that I have my blog figured out, I'm going to be a blogging maniac. Yes, I know it's only been one day and quite possibly, the novelty will wear off. We will cross that bridge when we get there...or not.
So, I have friend in Scotland who has been so inspiring for me in so many ways. She's no super star blogger or video maker ... she just does her best. She puts up regular videos and I love to watch them in my studio ... sometimes I can hardly understand a word she say with her thick Scottish accent, but most of the time, I get it. We create and chat and keep each other company. Its great.
Today, while chatting with Scottish Annie, I used up a ton of old paint on some pages that i plan to use in my next Art Journal. The pages are from an old appointment book, they are big and have lines and numbers on them. When the paint dries, i plan to do some random collage, then maybe some stencilling and then put the book together before adding focal images and quotes.
I also did a bit of adulating today, 7 loads of laundry and even left the yard to go to the bank. I had some people drop in to see some quilting that I've done and a few neighbours poked their heads in the door to say hi.
I managed to edit a video tonight -- i did a voice over and even uploaded it to youtube. Which, I might add, is nothing short of a miracle!
