It's always a beautiful day when I get to spend time in the studio...creating and organizing. We finally had some rain last night, which will make the berries happy, especially the HASKAP.

If you don't already know, we have been planting a variety of different berries over the past few years.

Goji, Haskap, Blueberry, Blackberry, Seabuck Hawthorn, Gooseberries, Raspberries, Saskatoon and the never ending strawberries...so many of those! YUM!

We had a good year with the Saskatoon berries and made juice ... with the leftover pulp, I made Saskatoon paper in my Hollander Beater. It turned out great and even smells good. I will make some Berry Books ... eventually, with the paper.

Today I am planning on catching up on 'adult' jobs - like updating my web site, finishing this blog and washing the floor. There is something about a clean floor that inspires me...ok, maybe not, but it does look wonderful.

After i am done adulting I plan on getting some more painting done on a bunch of scrap paper and junk mail that i have been collecting. I am going to be making the paper into journals to sell eventually.

Mona has just settled down for her nap in the studio and we have the Eagles playing ... come join us and GET YOUR ART ON!
