(expired) Passport Art Journals

Recently, i stumbled upon Orly Avineri and her (expired) passport class in Texas. I fell MADLY in love with the idea of taking an old passport and TRANSFORMING it into something MORE. I really want to take her class!! I just can't go to Texas right now tho, so I decided to take matters into my own hands... So, on to eBay I went. Days, hours, wasted (#notwasted)down rabbit holes of ephemera and old documents/passports.

In the photo is one of the passports, from Holland, a woman named Ursula. I also found a LOTT on eBay of some old memorabilia. I took my chances and spent $9 on a box of old papers. (because,like I don't have my OWN LOTTS (and lots) of memorabilia and papers) Anyways, the memorabilia is so awesome. I can't wait to make it into a book and turn it into a STORY - about a group of women travelling in the 60's. I'm so excited to spend some more time on this project! For now, I have to go clean the huge mess I just made and get ready for a paverpol class on the weekend. Best day ever.
